What we collect and why
When you request a quote or contact us we collect your name and phone number, and optionally your email, postcode and a description of the work. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to provide the service you've asked about. Our lawful bases are contract (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract) and legitimate interests (responding to enquiries about our services).
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, share it for third-party advertising, or send you marketing without your consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become jobs are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Records relating to completed work and invoicing are kept for 6 years, as required for tax purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the business — website hosting, email delivery and accounting software — each under contracts meeting UK GDPR requirements. We don't transfer your data outside the UK or EEA without appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
